Mazda
RX-8 One-to-One Course
"Mazda's
RX-8 caused a storm of interest when it was launched in 2004
and rightly so. Universally acclaimed by the motoring press,
its a stunning car with real character. In the same year Mazda
launched a Motorsport initiative using the RX-8 for a women's
only race series, all drivers behind the wheel of identical
race prepared Mazda RX-8's. The championship was broadcast
on ITV and was won by Natasha Firman, the sister to then F1
driver Ralph Firman. Now you can drive these race prepared
Mazda RX-8 on the fastest circuit in the UK.Visually very
similar to the road going version of the Mazda RX-8 but from
the moment the door is opened the car becomes a completely
different animal. Stripped out with a full roll cage, race
seats and a 4-point harness just taking to the drivers seats
get the adrenalin going. Out on the circuit the rotary engine
powers the car round the sweeping corners of Thruxton."

Ferrari
355 Plus experience
"The
Ferrari 355 is a very low car, you even have to bend down
to reach the door handle, so seated in the supportive leather
driver's seat, it feels as if you are almost sitting on the
floor. Although off set towards the centre of the car, the
beautifully crafted aluminium pedals feel just right and the
polished gear stick falls naturally to hand. Time to experience
the magic as you ease out onto the wide open sweeps of Thruxton
circuit where you can safely access the legendary power plant.
The engine note progresses from a bark through to a cultured
metallic howl as you accelerate up the gearbox. In the cockpit
the now familiar click clack sound of the gear stick shaft
moving through the exposed metal gate."

Aston Martin V8 Vantage
Experience
"The
Aston Martin V8 Vantage looks like an English Supercar. The
bodywork is like the best bespoke tailoring. It fits beautifully
and has a graceful muscular look. There are no extravagant
spoilers or scoops to spoil the flowing lines. It achieves
the difficult balance of beauty and purpose. A surprisingly
compact car, the wheelbase and track dimensions give a hunkered
down four square stance. It looks the business and more importantly,
it delivers it. Slide down into the supportive leather seat
and thumb the glowing red translucent starter botton. The
4.3-litre V8 instantly explodes into life. Falling naturally
to hand is the stubby gear stick. The Graziano box has a definite
mechanical feel - changing gear is much more a shoulder rather
than wrist action. At 4500rpm, the valves in the exhaust open
and the music reaches volume eleven - pure magic! Preparing
you for this drive is the more delicate feeling Porsche Cayman.
Four laps in this stunning German coupe will ensure you are
fully comfortable and confident with the lines and technique."

Porsche
997 Turbo Experience
"Torque
- the ability of an engine to accelerate a car. It's the force
that you most readily experience when you drive and the 911
Turbo and it has lots of it. 501lb/ft to be exact, all the
way from 2700rpm to 4600rpm. Add to that 472bhp and you suddenly
have a very quick car with easily accessible performance.
The acceleration is the most impressive feature about the
car, any gear with more than 2000rpm and the car will squat
down at the rear and go. That is - pushed back into the seat
unrelenting go. Full throttle jet fighter take off go. The
engine position and four wheel drive gives phenomenal grip
and traction and the steering will literally talk to you.
You can feel the rear weight bias and initially it feels unusual,
but then it will all click and you will realise why the 911
Turbo has a such a strong following. Before the 997 Turbo
you'll drive the new Porsche Cayman - just to get you in the
Porsche mood!"

Ferrari F430 Experience
"A more
aggressive stance than the old F360, it's a meaner purposeful
look. The tail lights ape the look of the Ferrari Enzo. You
know this is going to be a memorable experience. The Ferrari
430, Ferrari's very latest mid engined supercar, a development
of the previous F360. It's a huge step forward in how the
car performs. The 430 refers to the engine size - 4.3 litres
- 700cc bigger than the F360, 483 bhp and 343 Ib/ft of torque
- both significant gains over the previous model. The F360
was very fast - this is sensational! Before the F430 comes
some track time in the brand new Porsche Cayman - the car
feels completely at home on the track and inspires confidence
in the driver. After experiencing the F430 its time for something
completely different. The Formula Renault racing car - slick
tyres, proper down force and super sharp responses, we guarantee
the drive home will be boring!"

Lamborghini
LP640 Experience
"Experience
the best driving machine from Lamborghini on the most exciting
race track in the UK.This stunning supercar oozes power and
menace. It feels like you are climbing into the cockpit of
a rocket. You sink down into the supportive and reclined seat.
Reaching up, you pull down on the door, the delicate gas strut
emits a quiet hiss, then the lock engages and you are ensconced
in the control centre. Ahead, a small tactile wheel with two
beautifully crafted paddles at three and nine o clock. A turn
of the ignition key and from behind you comes a smooth well
oiled whir as the 12 cylinders catch and the engine settles
to a 640 bhp and 214mph potential. Click the right paddle
towards you, a large 1 appears on the dashboard display. Smoothly
open the throttle and the car glides forward, accelerate more
and the gears smoothly and instantly change with each click
of the paddle. Around the back of the track you press harder
still, the rear sits down a little as the huge tyres dig into
the tarmac and the mighty V12 propels the car forward with
unrelenting nuclear thrust."
